| Pokagon State Park - With its landscape formed by receding glaciers some 12,000 years ago, Pokagon State Park features a rolling terrain covered with woodlands, several small lakes with swampy edges, marshlands, meadows, and mature pine plantations. The recreational activities available at Pokagon State Park include swimming, fishing, saddle horse rentals, cross-country ski rentals, and a winter toboggan slide, making the park one of Indiana's most visited state parks. There are also many trails to explore with unique outcroppings and glacial debris; while on the trails notice the interesting variations of plant species and topography, as well as an abundance of native bird species. Pokagon State Park is just a short drive from Camp Sack-In. |

Fun Spot Amusement Park - Just a few minutes from Camp Sack-In is Fun Spot Amusement Park, a park that certainly lives up to its name. The park features over 17 rides including roller coasters, dual waterslides, go karts, a ferris wheel, bumper cars, a glass house, and a carousel. Kiddyland features pony carts, little dipper safari, a space train, and wetboats. Fun Spot Amusement Park also features miniature golf, an arcade with video games, food and shops, sand volleyball, and even a zoo with a wide variety of animals, including lions, tigers, deer, lemurs, parrots, and much more! Fun Spot Amusement Park is a great place to spend an afternoon with the family. |
| Glendarin Hills Golf Club - Located directly in Angola, not far from Camp Sack-In, Glendarin Hills Golf Club was once farmland, but today golfers of all levels can enjoy the 262 acres of sloping terrain and 18 holes of championship golf. Glendarin Hills Golf Club features four sets of teeing areas, ranging from 5,000 to 7,100 yards in length so golfers of all abilities will find it fair yet challenging. Glendarin Hills Golf Club also features a 32,000 square foot clubhouse, 72 electric golf carts, and a premier restaurant, Caruso's. |

Satek Winery
|
Satek Winery -The enchanting Satek Winery is located near Fremont and Angola, Indiana, and is a producer of excellent, award-winning wines. Some of the wines made at the winery include Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Syrah, Merlot, Raspberry Wine, and a very special 101 Lakes White and Red Wine. Tours are available on weekends, and at special times during the week. Watch the staff performing their tasks such as bottling, labeling, and other tasks through the windows to the production room. Tours may also be made by appointment. Satek Winery is now open seven days a week from 10 AM until 6 PM. New this year, the winery can sell and taste wine as of 10 AM Sunday mornings. Satek Winery is closed Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Easter, and all Election Days. The winery is within easy driving distance of Camp Sack-In so a relaxing tour and tasting are closer than you think!
